Graham Hill - Profile of a Legend

Norman Graham Hill was admired for his courage and determination by a public far beyong the ranks of racing enthusiasts. Twice World Champion, Hill started out working as a mechanic for Lotus and when Team Lotus entered Grand Prix racing in 1958, he became a Grand Prix driver.

Between then and his retirement from racing, he started in 176 Grand Prix and won at Indianapolis and Le Mans. In the World Championsip series he won 14 races and a total 289 points (270 net). Despite breaking both of his legs badly in 1969, he carried on winning (despite having to be lifted in and out of his car at times) until he scored his final championship point in Sweden in 1975.

The highs and some of the lows of this remarkable driver's 17-year career are faithfully reproduced in this fascinating video.
