Brabham - one of the great names of motor racing history. A great driver who not only became a household name worldwide during the 1950's and 1960's for his driving exploits, but who also created a racing team that was still winning races in the 1980's.
Sir Jack Brabham, as he is now, came to Europe from Australia in 1955 and rapidly became the spearhead of the first successful British challenge against the all-powerful Italian factories of Grand Prix racing. Driving a Cooper Climax he beat the Ferraris in 1959 and 1960 to take two of his three World Championships. The third came later in 1966 driving a car of his own make.
This is a Brabham story, told exclusively in his own words and by close associates including Stirling Moss, Roy Salvadori and John Cooper of Cooper Cars fame. Extensive archive material captures the feel of some glorious motor racing whilst producer Neville Hay traces every major step of a brilliant career.
