The Monaco Grand Prix is the world's most exotic and pitoresque Formula 1 race. Framed by the traditional and contemporary architecture of the tiny Principality which has long been a jewel of the Riviera crown, and skirting a harbour filled with the luxury yachts of the rich and famous, it is much more than a round of the FIA Drivers' and Constructors' World Championships; it is the biggest social occasion in the international motor racing calendar.
Anyone who has ever attended a Monaco Grand Prix, or who has watched any of the races on television, will be fascinated by this reminder of so many fast and furious battles through the streets of Monte Carlo, and of the unique atmosphere in which they took place.
