Emerson Fittipaldi (Driver Profile #5)
Item #E783 - $9.95
The youngest World Champion in history at 25, Emerson Fittipaldi won a second title in 1974 before deciding to build and race his own F1 cars. But the dream of becoming a successful driver/constructor turned into a nightmare, bringing about the demise of Fittipaldi's career. At the end of 1980 he retired from F1, closing down his team two years later.

By 1984 Emerson had rediscovered his appetite for the sport, quickly establishing himself as a respected member of the American Indycar scene. In 1990 he became only the fourth World Champion to win the Indianapolis 500. Four more wins brought him the Indycar title, and for 1990 he moved to Penske Racing, America's most successful racing team, in company with sponsor Marlboro. Filled with a wealth of photos of action-packed racing and behind-the-scenes drama, plus a full review of the Fittipaldi's outstanding career.
