Champion: Michael Schumacher. 2002 was an historical year in Formula 1, with Michael Schumacher and the Ferrari team at the height of their powers during an incredible season which saw Michael Schumacher equal to Juan Manuel Fangio's record of five FIA F1 World Championships, and Ferrari win a fourth consecutive constructor's title.
